Effects of low level light therapy by REPULS in cell culture models

Light therapy with REPULS improves proliferation of myoblasts and fibroblasts in in vitro cell culture models, whereby the fibroblasts reacted more sensitive to this treatment. This occurs in conjunction with increasing mitochondrial activity and ATP production. Light therapy would be an easily applicable and cost-effective alternative or supportive treatment method. Further experiments, exploring the cellular and subcellular mechanisms, are necessary to better comprehend the mechanism of action and their relationship to one another.
